xpection.io is operated by xpection (the “Company”). We design and implement industrial automation and vision systems for sawmills. This policy explains what information we collect on this site and how we use it.
What we collect
- Contact form submissions: name, company, email, phone (if provided), and information about your sawmill line.
- Direct emails: any information you share when writing to
contact@xpection.io. - Server logs: standard web server logs used for security and uptime monitoring (IP address, browser type, referrer, pages visited).
- Cookies/analytics: we do not run third-party analytics or advertising pixels on this site.
How we use the information
- Respond to your inquiries and schedule technical reviews.
- Prepare proposals, integration concepts, and project documentation.
- Maintain site security and prevent abuse.
Legal basis
We process contact data based on legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and preparing potential contracts. Server logs are processed for security and operational continuity.
How long we keep data
- Contact inquiries: retained for up to 24 months unless you request earlier deletion or a contract is signed.
- Server logs: retained for up to 90 days for security monitoring.
Who has access
Access is limited to Company personnel involved in sales, engineering, and operations. We do not sell or rent your data. Third-party processors are limited to hosting and email providers necessary to operate xpection.io.
Your choices
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your contact data by emailing contact@xpection.io.
- Opt out of further communication at any time; we will remove you from outreach lists.
Data security
We use reputable hosting providers, access controls, and encryption in transit (HTTPS) to protect data sent to and from xpection.io.
